We implemented our NFC based Prepaid Cashless System for Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2019 along with our partner in Dubai. In this requirement, the client wanted to have a cashless system for the various booths mostly selling the Food items. The client was also facing network issues at the event location.
In our solution, we provided clients with NFC-based Cards for visitors which was used for registration as well as loading the virtual cash. There was a registration/reload counter for visitors to top-up their cards with virtual cash. Now each of the booths was equipped with NFC-based devices running our NFC Cashless POS application. Visitors were able to pay for the items by tapping their NFC cards on the NFC POS devices. Our Solution was working in Offline more which means each transaction was performed between POS device and NFC card without connecting to the server. And all the transaction logs were synchronized later once POS devices were in the data network.
Overall, our solution helped organizations to have quick checkouts at booths without long queues due to the handling of the cash. For Visitors, it was a smooth and quick payment experience. There were almost 700+ visitors which performed around 3000+ transactions in the span of 2 days of the event.
